From the moment I walked in, I knew this was something special. The workers and braiders here are absolutely exceptional—true artists in their craft, and even more wonderful as people. I came in with very, very short hair, unsure what could be done, and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Their attention to detail was incredible: each braid was placed perfectly, every strand handled with care. They listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond what I imagined. And their kindness? Genuine. Friendly, patient, professional. It’s rare to find a team that combines skill and warmth so seamlessly. If you want a place where your hair is treated with respect, artistry, and love—even if you’re starting with a very short length—this is definitely the spot. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Thank you to everyone there for making me feel beautiful.

Shout out to Dafin and Destiny who did my knotless braids today. There was one other young lady but didn’t get her name. However everyone in the salon was very nice and professional. I was very pleased with my braids not only because they turned out great but for the first time it was not painful. In the past, I’ve left with my scalp feeling irritated but this was the first time braids were not only nicely done but also not pulling on my scalp. Definitely recommend and will go back. Thanks ladies.

I have been doing my own crochet braids, moreso than not, due to others braiding too tight. I don't know how to cornrow and it always takes days to do my own. I wanted to treat myself to a self care day for my birthday. I am not from the area. I called a salon in Brunswick with good reviews but got no answer. I came across Naija's Braiding, called and they picked right up. I made an appt, which was a Saturday, for Monday. I was given an appt instantly. I arrived to a pleasant atmosphere. Ashley approached me asking what style I wanted. I showed her a pic and video. She took her time to look at both, to be sure she got it right. She did not dissappoint. I absolutely loved it and, she does not put tension on the hair. I did not leave with pain or had to sleep in pain from tight braids. Thank you so much Ashley!! She was quick as well and super nice.
